 Long, Luella M.
Luella M. Long, age 89, of Menasha, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. On October 3, 1923, Luella Marcella was born in Menasha to the late Dennis and Clara (Lingnowski) Pozolinski. Luella married Bruce Long on April 19, 1945, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Menasha. He preceded her in death on August 28, 1966. Luella was a very talented cook and baker. She was also skilled at sewing and liked reading. Most of all Luella loved spending time with her family. They had many family camping trips, holiday parties and other gatherings.
Luella will be missed by her loving children: James (Joyce) Long, Robert (Diane) Long, Marianne (Thomas) Hertzberg, Linda (George) Sass, Sandy (Ken) Allcox, Larry Long, Connie Harder, John Long; her grandchildren: Kristin (Scott) Mitchell, Brandon (Alicia) Long, Shane (special friend, Kristi Willert) Long, Andrea Long, Brian (Kristina) Hertzberg, Kevin (Andrea) Hertzberg, Gregory (Laura) Sass, Julie Sass, Ryan Sass, Becky (Mike) Durrant, Amanda (Matt) Stoveken, Kat (special friend, Chris Urso) Allcox, Nikkia Harder, Andrew Harder, Douglas Harder, Bruce Harder, Jeremy (fiancee, Brooke Nachtrab) Long, Joshua Long; her great-grandchildren: Brian, Taylor, Ella, Taytum, Will, Siena, Sean, Bryson, Mason, Randi, Abby, John, Megan and Kameron; a brother, Dennis Pozolinski Jr., a brother-in-law, Elwyn (Shirley) Long Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
The Memorial Gathering will be held at Martens-Laemerich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha, from 10:30 am until the Time of Remembrance at 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 19, 2013. Inurnment will take place in the spring at St. John Cemetery in the Town of Menasha. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
