Craig D. Christensen, age 65, of Menasha, died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at his home. Craig was born in St. Paul, MN on April 21, 1947 to the late Dustan and Ruth (Smith) Christensen. Craig proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. On February 14, 1987, he was united in marriage to Irene "Susie." The couple has enjoyed 26 years together. Craig worked as a pilot for Air Wisconsin for 28 years, his final years he worked in the training department. He enjoyed coaching kids for many years at the Appleton YMCA. Craig also enjoyed boating and was an avid sports fan as a player, coach, and spectator. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church, Appleton.

He is survived by his wife Irene "Susie," Menasha; 5 children: Susan (Gene) Keller, IN, Kaci (Brian) Farmer, TX, Steve Christensen, Madison, Lee (Dawn) Reinking, IN, and Nikki (Tom) Strachota, Appleton; 12 grandchildren: Katie, Aubrey, Eddie, Sofia, Ali, Jake, Brittany, Nick, Alec, Brandon, Alyssa, and Aidan; and a brother, Dennis (Jean) Christensen, MN. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, and his family in England.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.

A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 4, at First English Lutheran Church, 326 E. North Ave, Appleton, with Rev. Mary Bauer officiating. Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
