Jeff M. Britzke, 61, of Neenah, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013, at his hunting land, doing what he loved to do best. He was born May 4, 1952, son of the late Sylvester and Shirley (Woloszyk) Britzke. Jeff was united in marriage to Patty Cheslock on August 24, 1979. He was a true outdoorsman. Jeff enjoyed hunting, fishing, sturgeon spearing, hunting out west for elk with his brother, nephew and friends, spending time at the land in Shiocton, going up to the "Whitetail Lodge" in Florence, and doing just about anything outside. He loved to golf and was a caddy for the L.P.G.A. Jeff also enjoyed recycling Christmas trees for his annual Britzke New Years Eve party on the lake. Jeff was a hard worker. On the weekends you would find him outside working on some project, doing yard work or visiting with the neighbor guys. He was employed at Thilmany in Kaukauna for 33 years, and most recently worked at Sturm Foods with a great team of people at a job he really enjoyed. Jeff was an avid Packer and Brewer fan, never leaving a game until the end no matter what the score. Jeff's daughter Jenna was the apple of his eye. He loved supporting her in all of her activities and enjoyed getting her into hunting, and taking her out on the water and enjoying water sports.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Patty; a daughter, Jenna Britzke; siblings: Judy (Greg) Verkuilen, Tim (Pam) Britzke, Jan Britzke Voelker; nieces and nephews: Chris (Liesl), Travis and Brian Britzke and Becky and Stephanie Voelker; step nieces and nephews and many other cousins, family members and friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents and his mother and father-in-law, Howie and Millie Cheslock.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second St., Menasha, with Rev. Paul Paider officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
