Constance "Connie" Mentink of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013. She was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, to Cornelius and Mildred Otte. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Helen Kloppenburg and Jean Reineking, and 3 grandsons, Brian, Michael and Jake Mentink.
Connie is survived by her husband, David, and children Hope (Jeffrey) Bruggink, Keith (Renee) Hahn, Rachel (Jason) Mentink-Ferraro, Jeffrey (Joellyn) Mentink, James (Mary Anderson) Mentink; sister, Beatrice (William) Hanemann; and 9 grandchildren.
Connie is a member of the Hot Springs Village pickle ball group, Spa City Belles Red Hat Society, Christian Women's Luncheon Connection, DeSoto Women's Group, Joanna Circle at Woodlands Presbyterian Church and Hot Springs HOG Chapter.
A Memorial Service will be held October 5, 2013, at Faith Reformed Church, 234 South 4th Street, CedarGrove, WI at 1 p.m. Rev. Ron Stanford, Senior Pastor will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Connie's name for Arkansas Children's Hospital, Hot Springs Village Walk for Cancer, and Woodlands Presbyterian Memorial Gardens.
