Patricia Knops Obituary
Patricia B. Knops, age 83, formerly of Shiocton, died on Monday, October 14, 2013. Patricia was born on March 1, 1930, in Owen, daughter of the late Coleman and Olive (Baldwin) Sugden. She grew up and graduated from Owen High School. On June 23, 1949, she was united in marriage to James Knops. Patricia had a sassy sense of humor and a lot of spunk. She enjoyed traveling, was a huge Packer fan, referred to herself as Brett Favre's mom and Farrah Fawcett. Patricia was a foster parent of 20 years to many children. For many years she worked at the Hortonville Toy Factory.
Patricia is survived by her children: Gregory Knops; Brett Knops; Sherri (Kenneth) Seefeldt; James (Robbyn) Knops; daughter in-law, Diane Knops. Grandchildren: Rochelle (Mark) Quandt; Preston Knops; Paxton Knops; Ryan (Valerie) Hall; April (Nate) Kayden; Rachael Seefeldt; Jeremy Knops; Ciara Knops; Skyler Knops; Rain Knops; Heather Knops; Sara (Corey) Bergsbaken; Jason (Lauren) Knops; Jimmy Knops and foster son, B.J. Hamilton. She is further survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Ronald, and a sister, Molly Skutag.
Funeral mass for Patricia will be held TODAY, October 16, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Denis Catholic Church, Shiocton with Fr. Joseph Nsereko and Deacon Ken Bilgrien officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. I agree with your obituary. I am Bill Lohrenz's sister and worked summers with Pat. She had the zaniest sense of humor and the kindest heart. Until recently we exchanged Christmas cards and I will miss her.

So sorry for your loss! I worked with Pat at the Hortonville toy factory about 40 years ago. She was a funny gal, and cheered me on when I started dating Florence Schmidt's grandson, whom I later married and 39 years later, we are still together. She was an awesome lady and just thinking about her right now makes my heart smile. I can just imagine her assembling toys in heaven for the children who are there! Geri Schmidt
