Randall Rawlings Obituary
'Rammer'
52, Appleton, passed away on Tuesday, August, 18, 2015 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born June 20, 1963 in Appleton to Robert and Judith (Daniels) Rawlings. Randy graduated from Appleton East High School in 1981. He was a welder with Pierce Manufacturing for the last 18 years. Randy loved his sons and enjoyed attending their sports activities. He was an avid Packers fan and enjoyed fishing and his annual trips to Canada with friends. Randy will be remembered for his heart of gold and his willingness to help anyone.
He will be greatly missed by his twin boys: Derek and Dylan Rawlings; the mother of his boys: Chris; his mother, Judith Rawlings, Appleton; a sister: Carrie (Jon) Schroeder, Little Chute; a brother: Dan (Trisha) Rawlings, Appleton; two godsons: Robert Schroeder and Logan Rawlings; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and aunts and uncles.
A Funeral service for Randy will be held at Noon, Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel. Visitation will begin at 9 AM.
In honor of Randy's love of the Packers please dress casual in your favorite Packers attire. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

I knew Randy from high school, and even though I didn't see him much after that, when I did he always treated me as a good friend. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

As I was praying for you Judy and your family I thought of the scripture found in John 14:1-3"Let not your heart be troubled, Believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father's house there are many rooms. If it were not so, I would have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go I will come again and will take you to Myself that where I am you may be also."

Dearest Judy, Carrie, and Dan, I was shocked to read of Randy's passing. I remember not only babysitting him, but also having a beer with him! You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Randy for many summers at Mike's Towne and Country in high school and when I came home from college. The two of us closed the store most of the time and I remember goofing around with him over the intercom. Please know that your family and his sons are in my thoughts and prayers at such a difficult time. He will be missed.

Such a shock... We did not see Randy often since graduation from Appleton East but had many good times together. We are praying for the entire family... May you find peace in knowing he is rejoicing with the Angels. Cheers to you Rammer... Until we meet again!!

Randy was a muched loved man...we are so fortunate to have had him in our lives...words will never express the loss of Randy...but take comfort to know Randy's spirit will live strong though his sons Derek, Dylan, family and friends. RIP our dear friend Randy.
