Lou Zeiden was the most gracious man I have ever met. As my sister's Father in Law he was present for all of the major events, and he opened his home to us when our father passed away. I feel truly blessed to have known him.

Our Dear Friend Lou was a joy to see routinely at our Italian Restaurant, F. Tambellini's. Lou and his close friends would join us for dinner beore eack theatrical performance that they would attend in Downtown Pittsburgh. I have his number on my speed dial as he phoned me so often. It was the greatest pleasure to meet most everyone of the Zeiden Family for Lou's third Bar Mitzvah. That was truly a joyous event! My heart and my Love go to you all, his beautiful family and friends. His smile always warmed the room. Janet and Charlie Pellegrini

Barbara, David, Howard, & Kathleen,
Please accept my very deepest of sympathies about the passing of my "Uncle Lou" & your unmatchable father. He meant more to me than you will ever know, so I'm sure he meant much more to all of you. He made an impact in all the lives he touched, & will be sorely missed. Although he lived a good long life, it's hardest to lose someone of his quality & magnitude. He will always be remembered as the patriarch of not only the Zeiden family, but my entire family. I will visit him regularly in his new resting place.

Howard and Barbara,
When I think of your Father, the words that come to mind are that he was a "can-do" guy. Whatever the task, Lou Zeiden could be counted on to bring a professionalism to the job and to lead the pack and get things accomplished. Whether it was his wizardry at sales on Seventh Avenue at Zeiden's or organizing the aliyahs from the bima as he looked over his half glasses at the congregation in Beaver Falls or his multitude of activities in the Valley or in the East End, Lou's hard work and generosity of spirit never flagged. His was a model of a life well-lived!

As an extended member of Lou's family I was truly blessed. Lou was a gentleman and a wonderful person. My deepest condolences to Howard and Barbara and their families. It is truly a passing of an era.

Barbara, Howard and families,
I was deeply saddened to hear about your Father. I have such wonderful memories of both of your parents, dating back to the 1950's. Lou was always there for the Soodik family and we will never forget it. He was a true mensch. May his memory be a blessing to your family.

I just want to let you know how much I thought of your father, grandfather, cousin, uncle and friend. He will always be remembered as a distinguished, elegant, and intellectual human being, and a true gentleman, in all respects. He was a person to be respected for all he accomplished in life, and sorely missed, but greatly honored.
My true condolences; Lynne Moidel
