GARY ROBERT
On Thursday, August 15, 2013, age 62, of Moon Township, formerly of Sterling Heights, Michigan. Loving husband, best friend and soul mate of Cindy Fisher Gogola; wonderful stepfather, mentor and friend of Robert Edward Fisher III (Jessica) and Thomas Andrew Fisher (Mary Katherine). Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Frank Gogola and Juliana Grembos Gogola, both of Sterling Heights, Michigan. During the Vietnam War, Gary served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Daniel Webster where he served as a plainsman. Upon honorable discharge from the Navy, Gary went on to obtain his undergraduate degree in accounting from Walsh College in Michigan and his MBA from Oxford College also in Michigan. Outstanding academic excellence earned him induction into the Delta Mu Delta Honors society of business administration in accounting with the Gamma ETA Chapter. Mr. Gogola was employed by CL Smith Industrial Ceramics in Missouri until the winter of 2012. Visitation Saturday 7-9 and Sunday 2-4, 7-9 at COPELAND'S MOON TOWNSHIP, 981 Brodhead Rd., where prayers will be recited on Monday at 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church. Burial in Holy Souls Cemetery.
