Charlene, Deb, Tony, Marc and Troy,
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you for your loss. We came to know Butch through his love of his grandchildren and his support of their love of baseball. While he will be missed in the proud grandparents cheering section this year, there is little doubt that he will be watching and cheering for not only Marc and Troy, but the whole team. As for now, our thoughts and prayers will be not only for him but his beautiful family.

Charlene, We are so very sorry about Butchie's passing, but know he is in heaven making everyone laugh. He was a hugh part of my teenage years. Joe and I were so happy to see you and Butchie in Las Vegas and again at the picnic although it makes it harder to lose him and all his facebook postings. Hoped to see you again at the next picnic. You are all in our prayers to offer comfort for your great loss. Try and remember all the good things and they will make you smile. Give your girls a hug from us.
Love, Joe and Connie (Nuzzo) Lapiana

Charlene and the Bregar Family,
I was shocked when I heard the news and my mind immediately flashed back to my childhood. Butch was a fixture in our family and was a part of almost every event of our lives. When I think of Butch, I see his slight smile, the twinkle in his eyes and that "swagger"! So special! One of a kind. He will be so missed. I will cherish the memories.

I have known Butch since first, grade still have class photos of eight grade graduation , and our holy communion. Lost contact for maybe twenty years, we were reacquainted in 2011, and felt like there was no gap in our friendship. He was so supportivethis past year while i was batteling cancer. His prayers and kind word were so much of a blessing. I will truly miss him. Lord keep his family.

I did not know Butch well. I know his daughter Deb and her Husband Tony. They are tremendous people and parents. They're twin boys are exceptional and Butch and Charlene rarely missed a baseball game. It seems like yesterday that they were buying pizza for the boys team (and families). I have to think that Butch and Charlene are a big reason that Deb and her family are so special.
My famy and I pass on our condolences and prayers.

Butch you were always the perfect son and could do no wrong (except when you would not wear your heavy coat and hat). I could not have had a better brother. You were always there for me in good times and bad. I will miss you always and I love you. Sis

Just learned of the loss of my good friend and fellow "Medallion". Praying for Charlene and family. While we all mourn our loss it's good to know that through his faith, John has become one of those "Thousand Stars in the Sky" he used to like to sing about. Hope to be singing with him again someday in eternity.... Jim Y.

Dear Charlene,
Our hearts are breaking and we wish we could be there for you. I have been listening to the message Butch left for us last week when he was in his chemo treatment. It does not seem real, happened so fast and my heart aches for you. Don and I will treasure our trip with you both last May. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you.
