Husband of Eleanor "Ellie" Mikula Evans; father of Barbie (Kevin) Hollen, Christy (George) Ambler and Jeanene (Tom) Hughes; stepfather of Ron (Joanna) Michalak; brother of Tina (Mark) Nickl and the late Donna Tolon; also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. ELIAS, DOROTHY - New Kensington  
ELIAS DOROTHY Age 92, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 21, 2016. She was born in Clymer on August 16, 1923, to the late Andrew and Anna Shaheen Anis and was a 1941 graduate of Ken-Hi. Mrs. Elias was treasurer of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church for several years and a member of the Myrrh Bearing Society of the Church. She was a secretary for National Material Corporation and most recently was a legal secretary for Raymond Bitar, Esq. of New Kensington, for 15 years, retiring in 2003. She enjoyed reading, cross-stitch and ceramics. Surviving are her daughters, Nancy (David) Simpson of Crafton and Linda (Jay) Watson of Chapel Hill, NC; two grandchildren, Jenna Watson and Andrew Simpson; and her sister, Mary Ellen Joseph of New Kensington. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Elias in 2011; and her sister, Jacqueline Anis. Viewing will be on Saturday, June 25, 2016, from 9 a.m. until services at 10 a.m. in St. George Orthodox Church, 1150 Leishman Avenue, New Kensington. Rev. Meletios Zafaran will officiate. ENGELMEIER MARGARET E. "MARGE" (REIS) Age 94, of Crafton Heights, on Tuesday, June 21, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Engelmeier; loving mother of Michael, David (Barbara) and the late Linda Engelmeier; sister of Dorothy Michels. As per Marge's wishes, there are no visitations. ESHERICK MELICE "MIMI" Age 85, of Upper St. Clair, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 17, 2016. Beloved wife of 61 years to the late Frank Esherick; loving mother of Stephen W. (Angela) Esherick of Carnegie, Candy (Robert) Kottyan of Upper St. Clair, and Donald G. (Joan) Esherick of Telford; devoted grandmother of Andrew and Bryan Esherick, Courtney Rubino, Allan Kottyan, Daniel and Jonathan Esherick, and Sarah Watras; adoring great-grandmother of Melice and Ryland Rubino, Cooper Kottyan, and Caleb and Grace Watras. Mimi was born in Philadelphia on July 20, 1930, and graduated from The University of Pennsylvania in 1951. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a United Way volunteer. Mimi was an avid pianist who was skilled in needlework. She was a small business owner of the shop Potpourri. Arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Friends will be received at Friendship Village, 1290 Boyce Rd., Pittsburgh 15241 on Friday at 11 a.m. where a memorial service will be held with a small reception following. Interment is private.
