Treese; loving mother of Christopher J. (Amy) Treese of Colorado; cherished grandmother of Sarah Jane Treese. No visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. TEPSIC, KATHLEEN (MAHONEY) - Washington  
TEPSIC KATHLEEN (MAHONEY) Age 66, of Sunny Isle Beach, FL, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 30, 2014, while visiting in Kansas City, KS. She was born September 18, 1948, in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor Krizsak Mahoney of Burgettstown, PA. Mrs. Tepsic was the beloved wife of Rudy Tepsic for 39 years; cherished mother of Rudy (Kristin) Tepsic of Vancouver, WA, Alison Tepsic of Miami, FL and Chris Koren of Pittsburgh, PA; beloved grandmother to Ellie, Will and Braden Tepsic and Evan, Sofia and Jack Koren; sister of Richard (Nadine) Mahoney of Washington, PA, Charles (Debi) Mahoney of Burgettstown, PA, Joyce (Jim Granito) Mahoney of Baldwinsville, NY, and John (Mary) of Bradenton, FL. Many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins survive. Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Rudy Tepsic; and her son-in-law, Josh James. She was a 1966 graduate of Burgettstown Area High School and a 1968 graduate of Washington Hospital School of Nursing. She worked for many years as a cardiac nurse at Mid-America Cardiology in Olathe, KS. Prior to retiring to Florida, she lived in Leawood, KS for 20 years where she left many dear friends. Mrs. Tepsic enjoyed traveling and reading, but especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. A wake and celebration of Kathy's life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the Airport Marriott, 777 Aten Road, Coraopolis, PA 15108. Friends of the family are welcome to share in this celebration of her life. TAKSEL JOSEPH CHARLES Age 67, of Pittsburgh, on Sunday, January 25, 2015, at Forbes Hospice. Joe was the son of the late Maurice and Feig Taksel. He grew up in his family's bakery, where he honed his skills in European bread and pastry baking. Joe worked tirelessly his whole life on behalf of animals and the environment. For recreation, he took great pleasure in riding his motorcycles, Moto-Guzzi, Ducati, and finally Harley-Davidson. Joe is survived by his three sisters, Rebecca Taksel, Martha Ruschman, and Elizabeth Beswick; his brother, Myer Taksel; and his very special friend, Rebecca Fenson. Funeral arrangements are private. TURNER MARGARET T. Age 95, of Wheeling, WV, died Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born December 23, 1919, in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late Mike and Kate (Lucko) Mazur. She was catholic by faith and was a former member of St. James Catholic Church in Wilkinsburg, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Turner, Sr.; and two brothers, Stanley Mazur and Mike Mazur. She is survived by one son, George E. (Paulette) Turner, Jr. of Wheeling; two brothers, Ed Mazur, Sr. of PA, and Richard Mazur of California; three grandchildren, Tricia Turner Marchand, Mark Turner, and Eric Turner; and six great- grandchildren. Friends will be received on Thursday, January 29, 2015, from 12 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2:30 p.m at the ALTMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, with Rev. (Heather) Testa and Joseph Michael Testa; several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, John Testa; daughter, Karen Testa; and brother, Edward Roman. TKICSUK Jr., PETER - Pittsburgh  
TKICSUK PETER, Jr. Age 95, passed away on January 21, 2015. Born on June 16, 1919, the son of the late Peter and Helen Tkicsuk of Baldwin. Loving husband to Helen Baehr, who passed in 2003; brother to Helen Fanzo, Julia Nort, Emma Tamburri, Olga Koehler, Barbara Ebert and the late Victoria Renzi; stepfather to the late John Baehr and Frederick Baehr. Survived by three step- grandsons; and many nieces and nephews. After graduating Brentwood High School, Peter entered the US Army. He completed basic training and he soon landed in Algeria and ended up in Berlin. Peter returned home with a Silver Star, seven Bronze Stars, and one Arrowhead. He was a master carpenter by trade and worked out of Local 142. He was involved with many of the buildings downtown.
