Son of the late George Matthews and Lucy Schweinberg Matthews; beloved husband of Judith Matthews; brother of Ruth Mathews, Paul Matthews and the late Lois Tucker, George Matthews and Glenn Matthews; survived by many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews. David was an avid gardener and a member of the I.B.E.W. McCORMICK JEFFREY P. On Saturday, May 2, 2015. Beloved husband of Erin Madigan McCormick; father of Michele Williams and Jeffrey P. McCormick, Jr.; "Super Pappy" of Alysa, Alexis and Annamarie; brother of Paul "Micky" McCormick, David McCormick and the late Audrey Papp; also survived by nieces and nephews. Jeff was a member of Teamsters Local 636 and worked for 31 years at OK Grocery until his retirement in 2007. After retiring, he worked as an usher at Consol Energy Center and in the Parking Enforcement Department of Brentwood Borough. An avid golfer and Pittsburgh sports fan, Jeff was also active in AOH Division 9 and the St. Patrick's Day parade. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. The McCormick family would like to thank all of Jeff's friends at UPMC Presbyterian Unit 10-D and the Cardio Thoracic Transplant team for the wonderful care they gave Jeff over the last two years. MICKLE PROFESSOR MARLIN H. On April 14, 2015, Professor Marlin H. Mickle, survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Coleman Mickle, and her son, Richard Strong and his wife, Melissa Kalarchian, of Squirrel Hill, their children, Max and Kate, and their dogs, Rosie and Ralph. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015, at Shadyside Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marlin H. MOTT MARGUERITE "MARGIE" (SHEA) Age 75, of Brentwood, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2015, while surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late John H. and Pearl C. Shea; sister of the late Mary Ann Sauers; beloved mother of Roy John (R.J.) (Lisa) Mott, Lynda (Ted) Green, James (Cindy Kello) Mott, Lisa Mott-Quiring (John Minahan) and the late Lance Corporal John Mott; grandmother of Chelsea and Jared Mott, Garrett and Richard Green, Victoria and Jim Mott, Kristina (Evan) Minahan, PFC Taylor Quiring; great-grandmother of Brayden and Dominic Minahan, Mia and Mariah Wright; also survived by nieces and nephews. Margie was born April 9, 1940, was a native of Brentwood, and graduated from Brentwood High School. She was a longtime waitress for Cork 'n Bottle, The Sir Loin and Tambellini's restaurants. Of most noted importance, she devoted her life to raising her five children on her own. She filled the shoes of both Mother and Father unselfishly. Too many positive qualities to list from shooting guns and fishing to sewing and crocheting. She was full of life and loved spending time with her seven grandchildren telling ghost stories, hiking in the woods, and swimming. She was looking forward to many years with great-grandchildren. Margie loved her German Shepherd, Semper Fi. A gentle spirit, she would set bugs and spiders free from the house. She was a member of St. Sylvester's Church and the NRA and supported the Wounded Warrior Project. She was an American patriot and was published in the Sunday Post-Gazette, June 20, 2010, supporting her political views. Friends received Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the GRIFFITH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5636 Brownsville Road, South Park Twp. (412) 655-4600. Beloved wife of the late Gino Naccarato; loving mother of Carmela Naccarato and Joseph Naccarato (Marian); grandmother of Matthew, Adrienne Mascilli (Daniel) and Andrew; great-grandmother of Giorgio, Luca and Giuliana. Preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Nicholina Mazzotta; sister of the late Maria Magliocco, and John, Lou, Carmen, Joe and Ralph. Rose, along with her late husband Gino, were the long time owners of Stromboli's Restaurant in Garfield. Rose and Gino were involved in family owned restaurant businesses in Canonsburg, PA, and Blackwood, NJ before settling in the Pittsburgh area. She was 'a million dollars'. NAPOLEONE ANTONIO Age 99, of Coraopolis, passed on Saturday, May 2, 2015. Born February 20, 1916, in Castiglione, Italy, son of the late Angelo and Grace Napoleone. Beloved husband of the late Lucy (Ventura) Napoleone; loving father of Jim (Mary Ann) Napoleone of Gulf Breeze, FL, Grace Ann (Angelo) Nolfi and Mary DeAngelis, both of Coraopolis; grandfather of Anthony, Edward, Ann Noel, Nicole, Angela, Jeffrey, Mark, Scott, Gregory. A grandson, Michael, preceded him in death. Great-grandfather of ten; brother of the late Orlando, Otello and Fred Napoleone. He was a veteran of World War II. He worked in the shipping department for Pittsburgh Forgings. He was a member of the Son's of Italy, enjoyed hunting and gardening. He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph's Church. NASSIDA ANTHONY ANDREW "A" Age 42, of West Mifflin, died Saturday, May 2, 2015. He was born May 10, 1972, in Pittsburgh, and was the son of the late James T. Nassida III and the late Bonita J. Novacek Nassida. Anthony's motto was, "I have only one life to live". He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He was a member of Resurrection Church in West Mifflin and was also a member and coach of Special Olympics. In addition to being a Document Security Specialist and Can Crusher, "A" loved to Karaoke at home with his family and friends, and enjoyed painting and "Off Roading". He is survived by his brother, James T. (Tina) Nassida IV, of Jefferson Hills, sisters, Lori A. (Paul) Mula of Baldwin, and Janna Lynn Nassida of West Mifflin; a niece, Cara Nassida and nephew, James T "Jimbo" Nassida, V, of Jefferson Hills; "A" is also survived by the angels that took care of him, Glenn, Tammy, Kristen, Christian and Toni.
