STOCKLEY EDWARD P., Sr. Age 66, of Pittsburgh, passed away surrounded by his loving family on August 22, 2015. He was preceded in death by sister, Jean Stockley; brother, Marty Stockley; father and mother-in-law, Edward and Catherine Vogt. Edward is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Paula Vogt Stockley; two sons, Edward P Stockley, Jr., Christopher F. Stockley; grandson, Aiden C. Stockley; two daughters, Lisa Patton and her children, Tammy Stockley; brother, Floyd Clawson. Friends will be received on Sunday, August 30, 2015, 1-8 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted Sunday at 8:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. TITTLER CSJ, SISTER PATRICIA - Pittsburgh  
TITTLER SISTER PATRICIA, CSJ (Sr. SEBASTIAN) Age 78, died Thursday, August 27, 2015, in Sewickley Valley Hospital in her 60th year as a Sister of St. Joseph. The daughter of Paul and Elsie Coons Tittler, Sister Patricia entered the Congregation from St. Theresa Parish in Altoona, PA. Sister ministered in the field of education for more than 35 years in the Dioceses of Pittsburgh, Altoona/ Johnstown, and Sioux Falls, SD. She served as teacher, including six years at Sacred Heart School in Altoona, and as principal including Transfiguration, Monongahela, St. Bede and St. Raphael in Pittsburgh and ten years at St. Bernard School in Mt. Lebanon. Sr. Patricia also ministered as principal and Pastoral Care Coordinator at St. Joseph Indian School, Chamberlain, SD, and as Director of Education at Sacred Heart Southern Missions in Walls, MS. From 1998-2003, Sister served on the Leadership Team of the Sisters of St. Joseph. She was co-manager at St. Thomas More Manor in Bethel Park, and manager of Beechview Manor from 2007 to the present. Throughout her life, Sr. Patricia reached out in service to others with care and compassion. She was an excellent teacher and dedicated administrator. She generously served on several boards and committees where she shared her gifts of wisdom and insight. Sr. Pat is survived by two brothers, Rev. Leo Tittler, Timonium, MD, and Robert Tyler (Judy), Tinley Park, IL; nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews; and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Baden. Friends will be received Monday from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Motherhouse of the Sisters of St. Joseph. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. in the Motherhouse Chapel. Burial will follow in the Sisters' Cemetery on the Motherhouse grounds. Donations in the name of Sister Patricia may be sent to the Sisters of St. Joseph Memorial Fund, St. Joseph Convent, 1020 State Street, Baden, PA 15005.

BOARTS JILL E. (SCHAFER) Unexpectedly on Friday, August 21, 2015, age 57, of Highland Park. Beloved wife of Alan C. Boarts; daughter of Lillian and the late William Schafer; sister of Steve Schafer; aunt of Erica Schafer as well as other nieces and nephews. Originally from Sewickley, PA, Jill attended North Allegheny Senior High School and graduated from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania with dual baccalaureate degrees in journalism and political science. She used her writing talents throughout her career, elevating communications for organizations such as the University of Pittsburgh, Education Management Corporation and PNC Financial Services. Most recently, she worked at A to Z Communications as a Senior Writer and contributed to many outstanding marketing campaigns. Jill is remembered for beautiful blue eyes, fun-loving personality and her easy laugh. She cherished her husband and family and was devoted to her pets. She shared the love of jazz with her husband, had a keen wit and a generous spirit. Jill had limitless compassion for the suffering of others, including lost and homeless pets. She always went out of her way to comfort those in need, offering help and hope. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. Funeral and Interment private. BUCKNER, JOYCE MAXINE (MACKIE) - Pittsburgh  
BUCKNER JOYCE MAXINE (MACKIE) Age 73, passed away with her children by her side on Sunday, August 16, 2015. She was born on February 26, 1942, in Pittsburgh, PA. She was a longtime resident of Wilkinsburg, PA, but spent the last four years of her life living close to her children in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. towns of Herndon, VA and Columbia, MD. Joyce was preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 53 years, Oscar C. Buckner, Jr. "Buck". She was the wonderful mother of Dr. Scott Buckner (Carey) of Ellicott City, MD and Adrienne Glenn (Cleveland) of Reston, VA. She also was the loving grandmother of Scott and Simone Buckner of Gaithersburg, MD and Maya, Kyra, and Celina Glenn of Reston, VA. She will be missed by her siblings, Geraldine Henderson of Pittsburgh, PA and Eric Arnold of Pittsburgh, PA, as well. Joyce was preceded in passing by her siblings, Dolores Sims, Joan Stewart, Theodore Arnold, and Irma Vaughn. Joyce had a long career with the United States Postal Service. She was an active member of the National Alliance of Post Office and Federal Employees Union where she supported the Union's efforts to increase diversity among the workforce of the US Postal Service. For many years, Joyce taught a test preparation course to assist people in the community with passing the US Postal Exam which was required for employment. Joyce valued education and instilled her love of learning in her children at an early age. She also volunteered to read to young children at Wilkinsburg Library. Joyce enjoyed sewing and she was an avid bowler. She enjoyed playing board and card games, as well as cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Above all else, Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren. Joyce loved her grandchildren and insisted that they were "well-loved" instead of "spoiled", in spite of the many thoughtful ways she showed her love for them. Joyce and her husband Buck enjoyed entertaining and always welcomed family and friends into their loving home. The Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015, 1:00 p.m. at Baptist Temple Church in the Homewood area of Pittsburgh, PA at 7241 Race Street.

COYNER LYNNE E. Unexpectedly on Monday, August 24, 2015, of Stanton Heights. Beloved wife of Lou; mother of BJ (Michelle), Kelly and Danny; grandmother of Logan James Songer; daughter of Shirley Morris and the late Raymond Morris; sister of Elaine Grimes (Joey), Sharon Mitchell (Danny) and Janet Galbreath (Chris); daughter-in-law of Marie and the late James Coyner; sister-in-law of Karen Fey (Ralph), Jimmy Coyner (Candie), Annemarie Reckhouse (Jim) and Krista Coyner; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lynne was a selfless, loving and compassionate woman who lived for her family and touched many lives. A memorial service will be held at McCABE BROS., INC. FINE, Dr. DANIEL "DAN" - Pittsburgh  
FINE Dr. DANIEL "DAN" A physician and social activist, died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. Fine was born in 1924, grew up in New York City, and was educated at the Fieldston School and Yale University. After serving in the Navy during World War II, he graduated from the Yale School of Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital of the Harvard Medical School. Based on a strong interest in organized labor and occupational health he moved to western Pennsylvania in 1957 to become medical director of the Russellton Medical Group at the Miners Clinic in New Kensington where he practiced medicine for more than 30 years. The Miners Clinic was organized as an early group model for healthcare delivery where salaried physicians provided comprehensive medical services to coal miners, their families, and community members. Daniel fought for social justice his entire life and participated in many causes including workers' rights, equal opportunity for women, civil rights, the anti-war movement, health care reform, and nuclear non-proliferation. He was an active member and leader in many local and national organizations including the National Organization for Women, Alle-Kiski Citizens for Peace, Alle-Kiski Peace Center, New Kensington Free Clinic, Concerned Citizens for Improvement of our Schools, NAACP, Neighbors Against Hate, Physicians for Social Responsibility, International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, and the Thomas Merton Center. Daniel was married for 61 years to his wife, Anita who worked with him at the Miners Clinic and collaborated with him on many social causes. He enjoyed spending time with his family, planting trees, cultivating ornamental grasses, and tending his vegetable garden and fig trees. He is survived by his wife, Anita; three children, Michael (Kathryn) Fine, Susannah Fine (Greg Shaw) and David Fine (Jane Piecuch); and six grandchildren, Danielle, Jacob, Max, Emma, Jonah, and Talia. Memorial services will be private. GALOSKY RONALD S. Age 65, formerly of Oakdale, PA, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on August 24, 2015. He was the son of the late Steve E. Galosky. He was retired from the Army Corps of Engineers and enjoyed classic cars, Steelers, and The Rolling Stones. Ronald is survived by his mother, Irene Hanzlik Galosky of Carnegie; his loving wife, Jennifer Galosky of South Carolina; two children, Rhonda Lococo (Thomas) of Industry, Stephan Galosky (Shana) of Oakdale; and one brother, Kenneth Galosky of Carnegie.
