BONTEMPO ANGELO J. Of Bethel Park, on Sunday, March 1, 2015, age 93. Husband of the late Waetta "Fern" (Finney) Bontempo; beloved father of Blaine (Elaine) of S. Barrington, IL; brother of Julia Zumbo and the late Victor, Joseph and Gloria Bontempo; grandfather of Brian Bontempo and Kari Kaleta (Brian); also great-grandfather of Shannon, Vanport and Lindsey. Angelo was a very active member of St. Joan of Arc Church. He served in the U.S. Navy Air Force during WWII and served on civil service in Allegheny County. He was a member of the VFW Library Post #6664, the South Hills Honor Guard, and was also a member of the Bethel Park High School football team, as well as the Library Tigers football team. Visitation Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the DAVID J. HENNEY FUNERAL HOME, 6364 Library Rd. (Rt. 88), Library. BROTHERS CATHERINE L. "KAY" (TOLBERT) Age 90, of Greenfield, formally of Castle Shannon, passed away February 28, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Smith Brothers; cherished mother of Lillian Brothers and Evelyn Stafford; grandmother to Scott Stafford. Mrs. Brothers was one of 12 siblings. Kay's vocation in life was caring for others, she always put herself last. She was a devoted wife, caring for her husband through many illnesses. Eternal optimist, even through her own illness, always making the most of what she had; she is irreplaceable to her family. Friends will be received at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236 on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-7:30 p.m., with the services to follow at 7:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. FENTZEL HELEN A. Age 89, formerly of Oakmont, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015. She was born on April 14, 1925, in Verona, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Jaros) Palochik. Loving Wife for over 64 years of the late Earl "Bud" Fentzel, Jr.; loving mother of Cindy (Raymond) Skiles and Earl R. "ER" (Marisa) Fentzel III; grandmother of Casey Skiles, Jill Ortmann, and Kayla Fentzel; great-grandmother of Launa Skiles and Eva Lumley. She was preceded in death by her faithful four legged companion, "Buddy," who was well known by Oakmonters. Helen was a member of St. Irenaeus Roman Catholic Church in Oakmont and operated Helen Fentzel trophies along with her late husband, "Bud" producing many awards for Riverview High School. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael (Anne) Palochik, John (Jean) Palochik, Paul, and Andy Palochik; her sisters, Frances (John) Hester and Mary (William) Donovon. FERRACO, MILDRED T. "MIL" - Blawnox  
FERRACO MILDRED T. "MIL" Age 92, passed away peacefully Friday, December 19, 2014, at the Humility House, in Austintown, Ohio. She was with several members of her family at her time of passing. Mil was born September 28, 1922, in Pittsburgh, to her late parents, Gustave and Sadie Kowalski. She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Ferraco. She was one of eight children and left to celebrate her life are brothers, Robert, William and James; and sisters, Sherlaine and Carol. She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Kowalski; and sister, Ruth (Kowalski) Mitchell. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Jim (Sue) Ferraco of Colorado, Terri (Terry) Schade of Ohio, Rick (Andrea) Ferraco of California, and Glenn (Paula) Ferraco of California. Mil was also the proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren, Michael Ferraco, Michele (Ferraco) Blanco, and Nicholas Ferraco, Megan Schade and Christopher Schade, Alexandra Ferraco, Lauren-Grace Ferraco, Andrew Ferraco, and Matthew Ferraco, Nathaniel Ferraco, Geneva (Gandolfo) Behnke, and Angelo Gandolfo. She was blessed with eight great-grandchildren, Aspen, Zachery, Joshua, Cody, Brayden, Tyler, Emily and Parker. Mil will always be known for her love of family. She especially looked forward to and cherished the holidays and gatherings we had. Her life was defined by family and all of us were blessed to have had her there for so many years. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to Humility House, Austintown, Ohio, and its staff, for the tender, loving, and special care provided to our mother during her stay there. The staff was very professional, caring and attentive to all her needs and that of the family. A Memorial Mass will be held in Gibsonia at St. Richards Church, March 21, 2015, at 9 a.m. Mil will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery in O'Hara Township.
