Age 27, of Streets Run Rd., Pittsburgh, PA, died on Saturday, June 8, 2013, in Mt. Lebanon, PA. She was born on September 12, 1985 in Maryville, TN, a daughter of Tammy L. Horn Al-Bawi of Union City, PA. Amena was raised and educated in Corry, graduating from Corry High School in 2003. She then attended college at Pitt-Titusville and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh main campus. Amena has lived in Pittsburgh for the last three years. Over the years Amena has worked as a bartender at Ashley's Pub and also for Mellon Bank. Amena enjoyed riding motor cycles, shooting guns, and going out to eat and to the movies. She especially enjoyed being around her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Victor M. Horn; her maternal grandmother, Barbara A. Horn; and an aunt, Vickie A. Horn. In addition to her mother, Amena is survived by her significant other of seven years, Josh Pikutis of Pittsburgh, PA; a sister Lealisha R. A. Lowe of Corry, PA; and two brothers, Jame E. J. Lowe of Knoxville, TN, and her twin, Joseph S. Al-Bawi of Wattsburg, PA. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and many cousins. Family and friends are invited to call at the BRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 315 N. Center St., Corry, PA, on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and also on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. There will be no service.
