79, of Wexford, passed away on March 9, 2014, as a result of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disease. Anne is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Roger Townsend, married on September 8, 1956; children, Mark Townsend and Michelle Townsend Stout; grandchildren, Rob and Indy Stout; sister, Nancy Cray. Anne was born in 1934 to Phillip and Frances (Stevenson) Barnes and she, along with her sister, Nancy, was raised in the Pittsburgh area. She graduated from Carnegie Mellon University, formerly Carnegie Tech and volunteered within the Northland Public Library and was President of Pittsburgh Symphony North. Anne and Roger loved to travel, with Russia, China, Thailand, Turkey, Croatia, Australia, New Zealand, England, France, and Italy being among their destinations. Although they traveled together abroad, the Outer Banks of North Carolina was Anne's favorite place to vacation and relax with family. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at 11 a.m. in First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown. Donations to , 1100 Liberty Ave., Suite E-201, Pgh., PA 15222.
