FIELDER BETTY (KECK)
Age 86, of Stone Harbor, NJ, formerly of Coraopolis, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014, at UPMC Passavant North Hills. She was born in Coraopolis on April 8, 1928, to the late Percy and Marie (Maienfish) Keck. On September 9, 1998, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Earl R. Fielder. Loving mother of Earl W. Fielder of Butler, Marcia Mastrangelo (David) of New Castle, and Donald Sheaffer of Gibsonia; grandmother of Christopher Fielder (Jolene), Kaitlin Fielder, and David W. Mastrangelo; great-grandmother of William and Finnegan; sister of Paul Keck of Annapolis, MD, Percy T. Keck (Jane) of Burke, VA, Robert Keck of Jacksonville, FL, and the late Ernest Keck, Carole Tortorice, and her infant twin brother, James; sister-in-law of Florence Keck of Coraopolis and Thelma Fielder of Cape May Courthouse, NJ; and many nieces and nephews still survive. Betty was a 1949 graduate of Sewickley Valley Hospital School of Nursing, obtained her B.S.N. from Millersville University and was a school nurse for Capital Area Intermediate Unit in Harrisburg. She was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Stone Harbor, NJ, a member of WELCA, the Garden Club of Stone Harbor, Stone Harbor Seniors, and Stone Harbor Women's Civic Club. Visitation at COPELAND'S, 867 Fifth Ave., Coraopolis, on Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in Sarversville Cemetery.
