Age 84, died on Thursday, March 7, 2013. Charles Jacob Cook, father, grandfather, gardener, chef, baker, fisherman, cat lover, and devoted member of the AA community in Baltimore, MD, passed away peacefully on March 7. Charlie was born February 26, 1929 in Covington, KY to Carl Cook and Lucille French. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Xavier University and a Master's degree from George Washington University. A U.S. Army veteran, he worked in human resources for most of his career. Charlie is survived by two sons, Richard (Terrie) Cook of Pittsburgh and Matthew (Holly) Cook of Raleigh; a brother, Robert (Ann) Cook of Cincinnati; and five grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held in Baltimore at a later date. Arrangements by SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, West View.
