Age 52, of West Mifflin, on November 7, 2013. He was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish, Duquesne and St. Agnes Parish, West Mifflin. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, volleyball, tennis and traveling. He was a graduate of Penn State University. Son of Frances (Harman) Onofrey of West Mifflin and the late Michael J. "Mickey" Onofrey; beloved husband of 16 years to Eileen (Battle) Onofrey; loving father of Patrick M. and Natalie M. Onofrey, both at home; brother of Elaine Onofrey of Bradenton, FL, Janet Onofrey of Westin, FL, Michael (Deborah) Onofrey of Mechanicsburg, Richard (Jeanne) Onofrey of Plum Boro and Leonard Onofrey of West Mifflin; also nieces and nephews. Visitation on Saturday from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday 12-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300.
