DAVID PARR Obituary
Of Penn Hills quietly passed on October 13, 2010. Beloved husband of Charlesetta "Charlie" Parr; father of Monique Parr; grandfather of Evan and Melani Parr; son of the late Gerald and Susie Parr; grandson of the late William and Ada Taliaferro; brother of Frances Townsend, Lois Gilkes, Dorothy Prunty, Burrell, Clyde and Wilbur Parr; and was preceded in death by his siblings Virginia, Betty, Gerald Jr., Frank, Robert and George Parr; brother-in-law of Gloria Jean Hayswood (Farrell) and Marshall Neason (Carole). Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday 4 - 8 p.m. at WHITE MEMORIAL CHAPEL OF POINT BREEZE 7204 Thomas Blvd. at North Homewood Ave. Funeral ceremony will be Thursday 11 a.m. at Mount Ararat Baptist Church 271 Paulson Ave E. Liberty. Interment National Cemetery of the Alleghenies

Due to a funeral conflict for our Aunt catherine Green, the Burley family could not attend the funeral. The Parr family, who we've known all of our lives, has our deepest sympathy.
