On Friday, October 4, 2013, after a brief illness and with his family by his side, Domenic left this world to go on to his well-deserved reward. Brother of John Dallimonti and the late Angela D. Baker; uncle of Bernadette "Sissy" Baker of Shadyside and Somerset and Barbara Baker-Fuhr and her husband Rob, of Regent Square, in addition to other family members in Pittsburgh and Jacksonville. The light of Uncle Mini's life was seeing and hearing about his devoted great-niece and nephew, Nicole and Dylan, who brought so much joy and love to his life. Born in Monongahela, Domenic spent most of his life at home in Shadyside, where he was well known by many neighbors and merchants as "Mini." He was a graduate of Peabody High School and Robert Morris College. After serving his county in World War II, Mini went on to work as an accountant and eventually, a postal clerk. As a member of Sacred Heart Church, he served for many years as an usher at the 8 a.m. mass every Sunday with his good friend, Jim Creighan. He also enjoyed bowling at Sacred Heart and with his postal buddies as well. On Uncle Mini's behalf, his family would like to thank the nurses, aides, therapists, doctors and staff of Magee Women's Hospital who treated him with the utmost dignity and respect in his final days. Friends received at McCABE BROS., INC. FUNERAL HOME, 6214 Walnut Street, Shadyside, on Sunday, 12-7 p.m., where Funeral will commence on Monday at 9 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Mt.
