84, of Burgettstown, died on Mon., November 12, 2012. He was born April 15, 1928 a son of Vito V. and Angela Luci Bovalina. Along with his brother, Frank, he owned and operated Bovalina Packing Company in Slovan, retiring in 1979. He was a Parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church, a member of the K of C Council 3440, the Burgettstown Lions Club, was an avid golfer and enjoyed camping with his family in their motor home throughout the country. His wife, Judith Scruppi Bovalina, whom he married on February 11, 1956, survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are his four children, Thomas V. Bovalina (Sharon) of McMurray, Yolanda Duffin (James) of California, Dominick Bovalina, Jr. (Karen) of Venetia, and Vito M. Bovalina (Sharon) of Imperial; grandchildren Collin, Corey (Desiree), Olivia, Anna, Anthony, Chad, Clay, and Luke Bovalina, Logan and Cameron Duffin; a brother, Frank Bovalina (Ruth) of Eldersville; a sister, Teresa Christy of Oakdale; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two sisters, Rose Dugas and Yolanda Bovalina. Friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the LEE & MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown. Funeral Mass on Saturday, November 17 at 11 a.m. in the Our Lady of Lourdes Church, followed by burial in the Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Burgettstown. Memorial donations may be made to the OLOL Church, 1109 Main Street, Burgettstown, PA 15021 and/or the Burgettstown Community Library, 2 Kerr Street, Burgettstown, PA 15021.
