Peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2013,with his beloved daughters Carole and Kathi at his side. Loving husband of the late Stella (Schwagle) Dvorak who preceded him in 2003. Born on May 5, 1918, Ed grew up in Bower Hill, the son of the late William and Julia Dvorak. He was the last surviving sibling of eight brothers, Steve (Edith), Frank (Margaret), Bill (Ann), John, Alex (Justine), Walter (Lillian), Ted, and Josie; and three sisters, Rose Guber, Helen Hoffman, and Margaret; and leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. After serving in WWII, Ed worked for Pittsburgh Coke and Chemical for over 35 years. He was blessed with a 30 year retirement, and enjoyed keeping busy in and around the house and yard. He loved his Slovenian polkas and waltzes and attended dances every chance he had. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. Friends received Saturday only 2-8 p.m. at the SZAFRANSKI - EBERLEIN FUNERAL HOME INC., 101 Third St. Carnegie. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Monday at 10 a.m.
