Age 81, passed away on June 7, 2013. He formerly resided in Penn Hills and retired in Grove City. He was a beloved husband, father, and family man. Husband to his loving wife, Helen; father of Michael, Deborah, Marc, Christina, Colleen, Keith, and Gregory; grandfather to Christen, Nathan, Emily, Heather, Audra, Ethan, Rachael, Jennifer, Dianne, Pierce, and Makenzie; brother to Beverly, MaryKay and Melinda. Edward served his country in the 82nd Airborne Division and was an Atomic Bomb Veteran. He retired as a Deputy Coroner in Allegheny County. His life contributions centered around community - volunteer firefighter and police officer. He was a member of Mason Lodge 603 in Grove City and a Shriner. He was a Knights of Columbus member and supported various charities including veteran causes and St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, INC., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City, PA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 10 a.m. in The Church of The Beloved Disciple, 1310 S. Center Street Ext., Grove City, PA. Burial will follow funeral mass at 1:30 p.m. in the Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
