Age 90, of Crafton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Husband of the late Ruth (Splane) Humensky; preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Mary Humensky; beloved father of Barbara (Richard) Palmer, Mary Lou (Alan) Szydlowski, Joyce, Dale (Diane), and Edward Dennis (Rennie) Humensky; also six granddaughters and one great- grandson; brother of Joseph Humensky and the late Ann Sutton, Betty Lou Stefanos, Rudolph, Miller, Albert, and John Humensky; also many nieces and nephews. Ed was a World War II veteran with the U.S. Army, and was instrumental with the implementation of the Mt. Washington All Veterans Monument. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the SCHEPNER - McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Ave., Crafton. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 a.m. Friday in St. Philip Catholic Church. Burial will be with full military honors in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Military Service 7 p.m. Thursday. Donations in his memory may be made to the , P.O.
