Of Verona, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Beloved husband of Joan B. (Beckett) Barry of 50 years; dear father of Linda (Donald) Bonaroti, Cheryl (Jim) Loheyde, Eileen (David) Risen and Edward (Karen) Barry; brother of the late James E. Barry; grandfather of Amber Bonaroti, Randi Rawl, and April (Christian) Wrabley; great- grandfather of Star, Sebastian, Isaiah, Ava, Cameron, Dylan, Eve and Emma; nephew of Sally Hanzas. Red was a Korean Air Force veteran, member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Verona, a longtime member of Verona Fire Dept. and served as chief of the department at one time. Member of Verona Eagles serving as President two times, served on Verona Council for 13 years. He was also a member of emergency management, and VFW formerly of Verona. Friends and relatives and firefighters will be received at BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, Thursday from 6-8 Friday 2-4, 6-8 p.m. Firefighters will have services Friday evening, 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
