DiLEMBO
EVA M. (PUCCINELLI)
Of Baldwin, formerly of Brookline, peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2013, surrounded by family and friends. Beloved wife of Alfred A.; "she was the wind beneath my wings." She was the daughter of the late Attilio and Anita Puccinelli; mother of Gina Atkins; and grandmother of Amanda of Knightdale, NC; sister of the late Evelyn Puccinelli and Lydia Robbins of Washington, D.C. Eva was a quiet, warm and reserved person who took pride in all her work and was an avid homemaker. She graciously found time to help others while she worked as a private secretary to the vice president of Sinclair Koppers Co., where she retired from. Eva took great pride in her Italian heritage, customs and cooking, where every meal was the starting point and ending of the day. The motif of every meal was the flavor, texture and taste of homespun Italian food, seasoned with her love. She gave all of her devotion and love to her family. Eva was well loved and thought of at Arden Court and to Celtic Healthcare who recognized the importance of quality and continuity of good care for its individuals and to enhance the level of overall emotional well being to patients in their care. Eva will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Eva was an auxiliary member of the V.F.W. Post 1810 of Brentwood, PA. Visitation will be held Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 10-11:30 a.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at Noon in Nativity Church in Curry, PA, followed by entombment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
