Of Forest Hills, age 93, on Saturday, July 5, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Regina E. "Jeanne" (Fagan) Brunner; loving father of John "Jack" Brunner of Regent Square, Mary Jean (Frank) Kowalski of Trafford, Carol (Bob) Wilson of Washington Twp., Kathleen (Al) Gray of McCandless, Dale (Patricia) Brunner of Jeannette, and Kevin (Anna Marie) Brunner of North Huntingdon; grandfather of Jeffery, Tim (Lynn) and Chris (Lauren) Brunner, and Gary, Robert and Jason Gray; great-grandfather of Sophia, Tessa and Madelyn Brunner; Godfather of Ginny Lange; also survived by his beloved grandpets, Sadiee Ann, Magiee Mae, Bogie, Jack and Jill. Fritz was a WWII Army veteran, an ex-prisoner of war, a recipient of two Purple Heart awards and the Bronze Star Medal. He was a member of the Ex-POW Association and the Disabled American Veterans. Fritz was a longtime member of St. Maurice Parish. He retired as a toolmaker from Precise Industries in North Versailles. Friends welcome Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at PATRICK T.
