Age 82, passed on November 12, in Myrtle Beach, SC. Born on June 30, 1930 in Pittsburgh, PA. beloved husband of June (McGowan) Dowling; father of sons, Mike, Jim, Brian and Tim; grandfather of Nicole Tiffany, Isaac, and Elijah; brother of Richard, Bob and Katherine. He was raised on McFarland Rd. in Mt. Lebanon. He had a paper route at age 13, before school started. Helped deliver milk (a bottle) worked at the pharmacy across from Atrias, caddied at South Hills, country club, graduated from Brentwood H.S., worked in a steel mill in Lawrenceville, served in the Air National Guard, became a national bank examiner, partnered in the Ed Farmerie Exterminator business, executive vice-president of Potter McCune Co., president of McKeesport national bank, president of City National Bank of Fairmont, WV, owner of Little's at the Beach Restaurant, Myrtle Beach, SC. He loved eating, hated brussel sprouts, avid golfer, got a hole-in-one, always had a lot of big ideas, proud of the family dog, Bridget, enjoyed annoying people with his lousy jokes.
