Age 88, of Highland Park, on May 8, 2013. Very beloved mother of Cynthia Mary Bell. Preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary and Sam DeMonaco; her sister, Olga (Dee) Everett; and her two brothers, Guido and Mario DeMonaco. Survived by her daughter; and her nephew, Ronald DeMonaco; also by loving cousins, friends, and co-workers. Gloria worked for 40 years as a secretary in the Pittsburgh Public Schools at A. Leo Weil Elementary School, Perry High School, and finally at Peabody High School. Friends will be received on Friday from 2-8 and Saturday from 11 until the time of a service at 1:30 p.m. at the D'ALESSANDRO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, LTD., Butler at 46th Sts., Lawrenceville. A Memorial Service will be held at the Temple of Memories, Allegheny Cemetery on Mon. at 11 a.m. Gloria loved flowers. Contributions may also be made in her name to the Carnegie Library for the Blind.
