HARRY "DAVE" BETLER

BETLER HARRY "DAVE"
88, formerly of Bethel Park, died on Thursday, April 11, 2013, in Heritage Valley Health System, Sewickley. He was born in Pittsburgh on August 14, 1924, the son of the late Harry R. and Olga Marie (Landau) Betler. He served his country in the US Army during WWII in the 482nd Maintenance Engineering Company. He was the co-owner of Betler Brothers, Inc., a 32nd Degree Mason, a founding member and deacon of the Hamilton Presbyterian Church, Bethel Park, a member of the Shrine. He also earned his 50 Year Carpenters Gold Card. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jean Betler; three children, David A. Betler (Salli), Bethel Park, Wendy Chicora (Michael), Crescent, Joy Betler Fujak (Gary), Coraopolis; three grandchildren, Marianne Campbell, Dawn Pettit, and Jamie Behanna; six great- grandchildren. There will be no public services. THE HUNTSMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, of Moon Twp., is in charge of all arrangements. Interment at the National Cemetery of The Alleghenies with military honors will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, (www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org).
