Age 63, of Uniontown, PA, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014, in Jupiter Medical Center Pavilion, Jupiter, FL. He was born December 7, 1950, in Uniontown, PA, son of the late William Radcliffe, Jr. and Janet Irvin Radcliffe. Harry was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He graduated from Uniontown High School. He received his degree in Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1972 and then started his career in banking at Gallatin Bank in Uniontown, PA. His executive leadership skills first became evident at 26 years of age when he was appointed President of Uniontown Savings and Loan. In the succeeding years, he served as a young executive and director with various financial institutions. From 1989 to 1993, Mr. Radcliffe served as the Director, President and Chief Executive Officer of First South Savings Association, a Pennsylvania-chartered stock savings association located in Pittsburgh, PA. From 1993 to 1997, he was the President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director for First Home Bancorp, Inc. and was President and Chief Executive Officer of its subsidiary, First Home Savings Bank, F.S.B. in Pittsburgh, PA. From 2002 to 2013, he served as a Director of F.N.B. Corporation and was a member of their Executive Committee, Executive Compensation Committee and Audit Committee, where he served as Chairman for a number of years. As a Director of F.N.B. Corp., he was twice a part of ringing the opening bell at the NYSE. He was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Fort Pitt Capital Management, Pittsburgh, PA, a private investment management company 1995-2001, and was the President and Chief Executive Officer of First Home Bancorp , Inc., a privately held savings institution holding company from 1995 until its sale in April 1996. He was a Director of Essex Bancorp, Virginia Beach, VA, a savings institution holding company, of Hawthorne Financial Corporation, Los Angeles, CA, a savings institution holding company, and First Fidelity Bancorp, Irvine, CA, a privately held thrift and loan holding company. He also served as Director of Promistar Financial Corporation, Johnstown, PA and MCSi, Dayton, OH. Through the years, he belonged to a variety of clubs and organizations, including Asbury United Methodist Church, the Fayette County Development Council, where he once won the Left Shoe Award, the Uniontown Chamber of Commerce, Elks BPO No. 370, Uniontown Rotary Club, Uniontown Country Club, Question Club, Duquesne Club, Lake Nona Golf and Country Club, and The Loxahatchee Club. He was a member of the Uniontown High School Varsity Basketball Team 1967-1968, and the Ohio Wesleyan University Men's Varsity Basketball Team 1969-1971. Left to cherish Harry's memory are his wife, Catherine Shanaberger Radcliffe of Uniontown, PA; sons, Harry I. Radcliffe and wife, Courtney, and Jonathan L. Radcliffe and wife, Megan; daughter, Megan Lynn Crawford and husband, Dean; brother, William (Trip) Radcliffe and wife, Jenny; and grandchildren, Harry K. Radcliffe, Jocelyn Radcliffe, Cole Radcliffe, Emily Radcliffe and Lauren Radcliffe, all of Uniontown, PA.
