Age 27, died on November 3, 2012, of cancer. He bore his illness with grace. Jeremy resided in New York City until his illness brought him back to his childhood home in Mount Lebanon, PA. Jeremy graduated from Mount Lebanon High School, where he was known for his lead musical performances. He completed his undergraduate education at New York University
, and continued at NYU with graduate study in philosophy. He relished a year working as an English language teacher In Grenoble, France, where he and his close friend lived in an apartment with a stunning view of the Alps. He loved hiking, languages, wine, cheese, cooking and travel. He was passionate about his family and friends. He is survived by his sister, Eve Landen who lives In Mondragon, France; and his parents, Carl Johnson and Deborah Landen of Mt. Lebanon. A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, November 10, 3 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the South Hills, 1240 Washington Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15228.
