JOHN J. "CAMO MAN"
Age 71, of Ross Township, peacefully, after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma, on Tuesday, September 2, 2013. Beloved husband for 43 years of Mary Ann (Cook) Lynch; loving brother of Jean D'Alesandro, Dolores (Norman) Drischler and the late Richard Lizewski; dear brother-in- law of Charles (Louise) Cook, Tom (Angela) Cook and Eileen (Carl) Winters; also survived by 19 nieces and nephews. John was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. He was a graduate of St. Basil's High School and was a retired Communications Technician with A.T.&T.; he proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He had life memberships with West View V.F.W. Post #2754, N.R.A., and the A.C.R.C. (Allegheny Country Rifle Club), and was a member of the Laurel Gardens American Legion Post. Family will welcome friends Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME INC., 388 Center Avenue, West View, PA 15229. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Athanasius Church on Friday at 10 a.m. with Military Honors to follow after the Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in John's name to the , 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205 or the St. Athanasius Building Fund, 7 Chalfonte Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15229.
