JOHN MICHAEL MORROW

MORROW JOHN MICHAEL
Age 57, of Baldwin, died peacefully in his sleep, Monday, December 17, 2012. During his final days he was surrounded by all who loved him. As he reunites with his parents, John B. and Rosalie Morrow in heaven, he leaves behind the ladies he loved, Bonnie Morrow, Melissa Morrow Stefanyszyn, Dena Morrow Montini, and Cristi Morrow. Also left to cherish his memories are his partners-in-crime, Rick Stefanyszyn and Kevin Montini; and his beloved baby dolls, Jenna, River, Jasper, RJ, Ashlan, and Alia. He is also survived by his sister, Linda (Morrow) Tomich; his nieces, Tia, Tami; his siblings-in-law, Mary Anne Yurtal, Sandy and Paul Phelos; his best friends, Jim and Nancy Oldham, and Bob and Marti DeFalle; his loving companion, Linda Stankiewicz; and many other family members and friends. All who knew him would agree that he was one of a kind! He lived by his own rules and loved to have a good time. John was a kind and big-hearted man who loved making people laugh. Besides being funny he was generous with his time and love. His time on Earth was short, but his impact was great! We believe that his final moments were captured metaphorically by his favorite song, "On a dark desert highway, cool wind in his hair, Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air, Up ahead in the distance, He saw a shimmering light, His head grew heavy and his sight grew dim, He had to stop for the night…". Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 to 9:00 p.m., where a Blessing Service will be Thursday morning at 11:00.
