Age 69, of Hidden Valley, passed peacefully, surrounded by his family, on September 20, 2013. Proud dad of Sean (Sheri) Baldis and Dustin (Lisa) Baldis; pappy of Kallan and Niklas Baldis, pap-pap Bob of Ziah and Machi Baldis; beloved son of Mable Baldis of Tamarac, FL; brother of Dennis Baldis of Tamarac, FL and Susan Hawes of Surprise, AZ; best friend of Diane Kirk. He is also survived by his lifelong friends, Wayne, Ron and his loving dog, Cody. Bob graduated from California University of PA and earned his Master's at Duquesne University. He began his career as a teacher in the Gateway School District. Bob was a dedicated advocate for public school teachers, serving as the president of the Pennsylvania State Education Association from 1973-1974, and as a UniServ representative and officer for the same. "Public schools are the cornerstone of our democracy."
