Age 79, of Parks Township, PA on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, PA. Born September 2, 1933 the daughter of the late Steve Ignatz and Ann (Ruboski) Ignatz Richardson. Beloved wife of the late Donald B. Parks on January 24, 2013, whom she married on May 12, 1954 and sister of the late Steve Ignatz and Patricia DelVecchio. Rosemarie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kristen L. Parks and Daniel L. Serafin of Baden, PA; her son and daughter-in-law, Scott B. and Beth E. Parks of Johnson City, NY and her grandchildren, Ryan B., Gregory S. and Heather R. Parks, all of New York. Rosemarie graduated from Leechburg High School, Indiana University with a Bachelor's degree in education and the University of Pittsburgh with a Master's degree in education. Rosemarie was an elementary teacher in the Leechburg School District until her retirement. She taught fifth grade at the Gilpin Township Elementary School, and later taught reading classes at various schools in the Leechburg School District. Rosemarie managed the family business, the Echo Greetings Hallmark store in the Leechburg Plaza. She continued to work in the store every day until shortly before her death. She also managed the commercial and residential real estate of Echo Development, another family business. Rosemarie loved her many stray cats and dogs and continued to cook for them and tend to them until shortly before her death. Friends welcome by her family on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at CLAWSON FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTER, 170 Main Street, Leechburg, 724-842-1051, where funeral ceremonies will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. with her pastor, the Rev.
