Age 86, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013 at Exeter Center, Exeter, NH. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Clarence and Jean (Byrne) Gloekler. She was a graduate of Schenley High School and class President. She went on to complete secretary school and held several positions, including secretary to the manager of Melon Bank in Pittsburgh, and secretary for the head of the Oral Surgery department of Farleigh Dickenson University, NJ. She had a keen eye for fashion and also worked in the business as a salesperson in different clothing stores. Her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. She is survived by two sons, Gregg Hillery and his wife, Victoria of Hampton, NH, Dean Hillery and his wife, Michelle of Phoenix, AZ; one stepson, Edward G. Hillery, Jr. of Boynton Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Johnathan Hillery, Rebbecca Hillery, Mark Slavin, Sean Hillery, and Michelle Putnick. There will be no visiting hours. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of the Calvary Cemetery in Pittsburgh, PA at a later date.
