Age 87, of Brookline, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 22, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Lois; loving father of Margaret M. "Peggy" (Michael) Zapp-Cirino, Cathleen A. (James) Liptak, Mark T. (Claudia) Wenger and Virginia M. (William) Quaglio; Tom was blessed with six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brother of Edward C. Wenger. Tom proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps in the South Pacific during WWII. He retired after 43 years with the Post-Gazette. He will always be remembered for his love of family, golf, the Pgh. sports teams and a nice glass of Miller Lite. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Friends welcome at 2630 W. Liberty Ave., Dormont, 412-531-4000, on Friday 2-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Resurrection, Saturday 12 p.m. Entombment Calvary Mausoleum.
