Age 85, of Penn Hills, passed away on January 25, 2012, after a 15 year struggle with Parkinson's Disease. Beloved wife of the late Norman C. Allison, who died in 1977; loving mother of David (Gerri), John (Susan), and Donald (Linda); sister of Ann Kohlmeyer (Dennis); also a grandmother of six. Betty was a lifelong lover of music-pianist, member of Tuesday Musical Society, Choir Director, devoted member of PEO, Chapter AL, active member of Laketon Heights Methodist Church. She was an active and independent woman who also enjoyed traveling the country and world with friends, camping, hiking, painting, sewing, gardening, and was a wonderful cook. Friends received Saturday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at CHARLES W. TRENZ, FUNERAL HOME, INC., 11110 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills, where Dr. J-LaVon Kincaid, Sr. will officiate a Memorial Service at 7:30 p.m.
