81, of Scott Twp., on Sunday, October 2, 2011. Born November 3, 1929, the son of the late Andrew M. Budinsky and Sophia Slanina. Husband of the late Jo-Ann (La Velle) Budinsky; dear father of Albert James Budinsky, Laura Ann (Wayne R.) Poliziani, Claren (James T., II) Healey; grandfather of Laura Jo-Ann Poliziani, Wayne Richard Poliziani, Jr., Jodie Ann Poliziani, James Thomas "JT" Healey, III; brother of Elizabeth Duke, Stephen G. and Edward F. and Robert J. Budinsky, and the late Dorothy Z., Joseph W., John J. Budinsky and Eleanor Fagan; many nieces and nephews; and special friend and companion Mary Kathryn Huntley. Mr. Budinsky was a Mathematics and Biology teacher at Chartiers Valley Middle School for 32 years, attended University of Pittsburgh, undergraduate in biology from Waynesburg College and received his Masters Degree in Mathematics from the Duquesne University. He was a former Scott Twp. Commissioner in the 4th Ward and US Air Force veteran during the Korean Conflict. Friends welcome 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Twp. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church. Burial will be in Arnettsville Cemetery, (Monongalia County) W.Va.

We are saddened to read of Mr. Budinsky's death. Our children have fond memories of him as a teacher at Char Valley. He was an excellent teacher and a true citizen of Scott. May God Bless him and his family.
