SPRANKLE JOHN ROBERT "BOB"
On Thursday, July 14, 2016, age 76, of Monroeville. Loving husband and best friend to Rose Sprankle, married 55 years. The best Dad ever to Cindy (Kerry) O'Donnell and Cheryl (Jerry) Turner; a super "Poppie" to Brandon (Jackie) O'Donnell, Ian (Katie) O'Donnell and Cody Turner (Angela Ashbaugh). Bob retired from Duquesne Light where he was employed for 42 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, golfing (with a good cigar), and bowling at Nesbit's Lane where he was a member and President of the Sportsman's League for over 40 years. He was a former member of the North Bessemer Fire Department and active member at the Plum Chapter of AARP where he served as President for the past year. He previously worked part time at Ametek and was currently employed part time at Valley Honda. Bob was a good friend, fun loving guy and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Per his wishes, there will be no service or viewing. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Heart Association, heart.org. Arrangements entrusted to the ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Online condolences may be made to www.englishfuneral.com.

Cheryl and family,

Kurt and I are very sorry to hear about your dad. Kurt always said he was a big help at fire calls. I'll always remember his infectious laugh. He was a great guy. Please pass our condolences on to your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Let us know if there is anything we can do. Sandy Pipes

Ray and I send our deepest sympathy to you all. Bob was such a sweet, loveable, and kind man. Always had a smile on his face! You will be in our prayers!
---------------------------
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields,
and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand!

This is truly a huge loss. Bob was such a great person. His character, honesty, and integrity will always remain foremost in my memories. He will be sorely missed by all of us at Nesbit's Lanes, as well as the Friday Night Sportsmans League.
May God be with the Sprankle family and friends at this time.
