I will never forget the memories at Spring Garden Ave. From time to time as a child growing up, I used to visit Nana and Aunt Rose. We would usually get a chance to see Uncle Mario when he would stop by just to say hi to us. He was a kind and generous man who would do anything to put a smile on a kid's face! God bless, and I hope that Mario, who was preceded in death by many other loved ones, including my late father, George Bashur on March 22nd, will always be remembered with kindness.
Sincerely,
Daniel G. Bashur and family

I just knew Mario and he was a Gem of a Man. We talked of Produce and of Religion and despite the loss you may feel you must celebrate his glorious life and revel in his final resting.

To the Balestrieri family,
You are all dear people and my deepest sympathy is with you during this time. Mario was a great man, his love for family was evident through each of you.
I remember the first time I met Mario. He acted like the "Godfather" and scared my husband silly!!! Then we found him to just be a big teddy bear and he took us in like his own. What a caring man :)
A family friend always,

Mario loved his family and his Catholic Faith. He did his best to follow Christ's example of service to others. To his family, we not only send our deep condolences on his passing from this life, but our joy that our Savior has welcomed Mario to place that has been prepared for him in the next life. Alleluia!
