SACHS JEAN E.
Age 89, of Ross Twp., on Tuesday, February 9, 2016. Jean was predeceased by her longtime friend, Mary Lou Ott; she is survived by her lifelong friend, Mary Cindric of Canton, OH. Jean will be especially missed by her beloved mini pin, Doc. She was the loving sister of the late Ethel Sachs, James H. Sachs, Jack Sachs, Helen Fidazzo, and Lucille Sachs; caring aunt of John Sachs (Percy), Patty Backos, Marie Zuber (the late Frank), Susan Sachs, Jerry Sachs, Charles Fidazzo (Marlene), Pat Fidazzo, Tommy Fidazzo, (Maria), the late Jimmy Sachs, and the late Joey Fidazzo; proud great-aunt of 18; she was also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Teresa of Avila Church on Friday at 10 a.m. Jean attended nursing school and worked at Passavant Hospital as a nurse anesthetist. She went on to receive her bachelor's degree from California University of PA. Jean was a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. She had many hobbies, especially golf, which she played as a member of Shannopin Country Club, and fine cars.
