1925 - 2017 Obituary Condolences
Age 92, of Lady Lake, FL, formerly of Aspinwall, passed peacefully on November 4, 2017. Born in Northfield, OH on February 14, 1925. Beloved wife of the late Richard R. Moore; and daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Habel. She was raised in Brookfield, OH and graduated from Brookfield High School. After living in the Pittsburgh area for 56 years, she and her husband moved to Florida to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Edwin and Elizabeth Rickard. She was the loving and devoted mother of six children, John R. (Cheryl) Moore of Gibsonia, Thomas R. (Debora) Moore of Butler, Elizabeth A. (Edwin) Rickard of Lady Lake, FL, Richard A. (Sandra) Moore of Melbourne, FL, the late Robert P. Moore, and Kate (Robert) Rich of Pittsburgh; loving grandmother of Jessica (Nunzio) Pulice, Shaun Moore, Ryan Moore, Stacee (Judd) Covert, and Nathan Moore; and great-grandmother of Margaret, Maria and Marissa Pulice, Ethan Moore, and Cruz Covert. She was preceded in death by her sister, Edith Williams; and her brothers, Leslie and Nicholas Habel. Ann served many years as a Lector at St. Pio Parish/St. Edward Church in Blawnox. She was a member of the Auxiliary Board St. Margaret Foundation, and was a volunteer at UPMC St. Margaret for 24 years. Visitation on Thursday, November 9, 2017, from 4-7 p.m. at the THOMAS M. SMITH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, LTD., 930 Center Avenue, Blawnox, PA 15238. Family and friends to gather at the Funeral Home on Friday, November 10, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Pio Parish/St. Edward Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Mary of the Assumption Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Pio Parish or the St. Margaret Foundation Bed Fund.
