LEONBERGER CARL

Age 84, died August 3, 2018. He is survived by his brother, Albert Leonberger, Jr.; his ex-wife, Evalyn R. Leonberger; his two children, Glenn A. Leonberger (wife Laura) and Jean L. Horn (husband Richard); two grandchildren, Bethany R. Douty (husband Michael) and Jordan C. Conner (husband Ben); and three great- grandchildren, Alexander, William and Emilia Kay. Carl was a Navy veteran (USS Truckee 1955-1957), plus six years in the Navy Reserves. Carl was an airline mechanic with Allegheny Airlines/USAirways for 32 years (International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers) before retiring to Seminole Florida in 1998. Previously he worked for Capital Airways (Arlington, VA), worked as a skilled cabinet maker and owned a pet store in Philadelphia (birthplace). Carl was active with his family, a trustee of Dutilh United Methodist Church, Cranberry Township, PA, a Boy Scout leader, Little League Baseball Coach, and a member of the Seminole Garden Men's Club.
