Obituary Condolences

Of West Homestead, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on December 19, 2012, age 84. He is survived by his wife, Lois Mae (Johnston) Isaacs; his brother, Paul (Dolores) Isaacs; sister, Anna Marie (Jim) Compomizzi; brother, Joseph (Zelda) Isaacs and sister Mary Magdeline (Paul) Banik; his sons, Daniel W. Isaacs and his children Danielle and Wayne, Dane Isaacs and Dennis (Tina) Isaacs their children Joshua and Jacob. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Mary (Johns) Isaacs; his loving daughter-in-law, Maureen (O'Riely) Isaacs, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was born in the city of Pittsburgh on March 29, 1928, a 1948 graduate of Homestead High School and Duff's Business Institute, a retired US Air Force Veteran, a West Homestead council member for 40 years, past Exalted Ruler of Elks B.P.O.E #650 and a member of numerous other boards and organizations. Dan retired from the US Steel Corporation, working in the accounting division. His love for God, his country and family was his passion and his legacy. He will be greatly missed, but we have comfort knowing he now rests in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Friends and family will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK -GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, on Sunday, December 23, from 1 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be on Monday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Church, Munhall. A short blessing service and interment will be held at Calvary Mausoleum. Directly following the services, everyone is invited to the Thompson Athletic Club in West Mifflin for a luncheon.
