Age 65, Naples, FL, passed away unexpectedly on December 30, 2017. Born May 31, 1952, in Colver, the son of Edward and Gertrude (Nealen) Augustine. Preceded in death by parents; infant son, Francis Gerard; sisters, Jeanne and Anita; and brother, Kevin. Survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Lillian LaJevic-Augustine; sons, Giles LaJevic-Augustine, Etna, WY and D. Justin (Erin) LaJevic-Augustine, Harleysville, PA; grandchildren, Colin, Nicholas, Lucas, Ava, Thomas and Brian; brother of Constance Augustine, Nicktown, Thomas (Patricia) Augustine, Garner, NC, Mark (Denise) Augustine, Williamsburg, VA, Joette (Robert) Watson, Ebensburg, PA, David (Diane) Augustine, Bonita Springs, FL, Joel Augustine and Diane Augustine, both of Philadelphia, PA, and sisters-in-law, Connie Augustine, Gaithersburg, MD, MaryJo Zubic, Bethel Park, PA, and Sylvia Ay, Timonium, MD. Denny will be remembered for his deep love and devotion to his family and friends and found joy in bringing everyone together in celebrations of life. He was a patriarch of the family, a mountain who could weather all storms. Denny, a proud graduate of the University of Pittsburgh in Electrical Engineering, spent over 40 years of working all over the world. He retired in 2015 from Hatch CA as a Project Director of large industrial international developments. After shifting into a consultant role, he went on to build his dream home and enjoy golf and gardening in Naples, FL with his wife, Lille. Family and friends will be received from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2018, at MORICONI FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1303 Bigler Avenue, Northern Cambria, PA. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown, PA by Fr. Alfred Patterson, OSB.
