1929 - 2014 Obituary Condolences
Age 85, of Bethel Park, died peacefully, at home in her sleep, March 25, 2014. Daughter of the late Stefan and Maria Zehala, she was born on February 21, 1929, in Uniontown, PA. While attending California State Teachers College, she met the love of her life whom she married following graduation, the late Anthony J. Bellini. First a teacher, then a full-time homemaker, and volunteer, she devoted her entire life to her family and others. She raised and nurtured a large family. Mother of Anthony, Jr., who preceded her in death, Eileen Losi (Peter), Kathleen Zechmeister (Michael), Mark Bellini (Carol), Mary Brown Bond (William); sister of William Zehala (Betty), who preceded her in death, and Stephen Zehala (Gloria); grandchildren include Michael Losi (Elizabeth), Erin Losi, Brian Zechmeister, Katie Zechmeister, Emily Waite (Curtis), Lynn Thomas (James), Karen Bellini (Stephan), Mary Bellini, Melissa Aughavin (Kevin), Stephen Brown, Amy Brown, and Brian Brown; great-grandchildren include Henry, Anthony, and Andrew Thomas. A faithful and devout member of the Roman Catholic Church, Eleanor and her husband supported and were very active in many aspects of St. Valentine Roman Catholic Church life since 1956. Arrangements will be made by DAVID J. HENNEY FUNERAL HOME, 6364 Library Road (Rt. 88) Library, PA, 412-835-0616. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2014. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, March 28, 2014, at 10 a.m., at St. Valentine Roman Catholic Church, 2710 Ohio Street, Bethel Park, PA 15102. Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. In lieu of Flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations made in her name to the South Hills Honor Guard, 7200 Baptist Road, Bethel Park, PA 15102.
