Age 85, of Kennedy Twp., passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Beloved husband of Jennie for 55 years; loving father of Jacqueline (the late Charles W.) Poloka and Frank, Jr. (Helen Callahan) Bialek; proud grandfather of Heather (Brian) Cicco and Lauren Borkowski, Ph.D. and two great-granddaughters, Molly and Emily Cicco; dear brother of Edward and the late Chester, Joseph, Walter and Stanley Bialek. Frank worked at the Continental Can Company for 28 years and was a proud veteran of the US Army. He, along with his brother Chester, were the owners of Bialek's Café on Olivia Street in McKees Rocks. Later at Bialek's Restaurant with his wife, Jennie, on Island Avenue in Stowe known for their "famous" fish sandwich. Family will receive friends 2-8 p.m. FRIDAY at THE McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Forest Grove Road, Kennedy Twp., where prayers are offered at 9:30 a.m. SATURDAY, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Malachy Church.
